Traveler Terms of Use

Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights

All copyright, database rights, trademarks, and design rights in the Website and in the material published on it belong to Us, Our licensors, or the Property Owners. You may download and print material from the Website solely for the purposes of keeping a record of Your Booking and the Property booked. You may not otherwise copy, transmit, modify, republish, save, pass off, or link to any content or material on the Website without Our prior written consent.

User Submissions

Where You submit content to the Website, including any reviews, questions, comments, suggestions, or other materials, You warrant that You have the legal right to do so. If You provide Us with Submissions, You grant Us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, transferable, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, distribute, publish, create derivative works from, and publicly display such Submissions.

You are solely responsible for the content of Your Submissions and prohibited from posting unlawful, libelous, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable content. We reserve the right to remove, screen, or edit any content at our sole discretion.

DMCA Compliance

In accordance with the USA’s Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), We may limit access to the Website or terminate accounts if there are repeated infringements of intellectual property rights.

Messaging and Editing Bookings

You may only send messages related to genuine Booking inquiries. Spam or unsolicited communications are strictly prohibited. The “Edit Booking” function permits modifications to Bookings, including changes to check-in or check-out dates, number of Travelers, rental costs, and fees. Any other attempt to modify a Booking outside of this function shall be a breach of these Terms of Use.

Price Changes in Edit Booking

If an edit to a Booking results in a price change, the following procedures apply:

If the price increases, You will be charged the difference according to the payment methods allowed by Us.
If the price decreases, You will be refunded the difference within a specified time frame, using the original payment method.
All changes must be agreed upon within 48 hours through the "edit booking" link on the Conversation Page; otherwise, the Booking remains unchanged.
General Disclaimers

We and Our Affiliates take no responsibility for any Submissions that You or any third-party post, store, or upload, or for any loss or damage thereto. You forever waive and agree not to claim entitlement to any moral rights in any of the Submissions. We are not liable for any statements or content provided by users and have no obligation to screen, edit, or monitor such content.

Final Note

These Terms of Use are subject to change without notice and should be read in conjunction with any other relevant terms and conditions provided by Us. Any rights not expressly granted herein are reserved.

Again, I highly recommend having your lawyer thoroughly review this document to ensure that it is compliant with the laws and regulations specific to your jurisdiction and that it adequately represents your business's interests and requirements.

Booking Edits:

If a balance payment is due for the initial Booking and the edit leads to a price increase, the balance due will be updated to include additional charges.
If the initial Booking is fully paid and the edit leads to a price increase, the new balance must be paid within the given timeframe (usually no more than 96 hours from acceptance of the edit) or the entire Booking may be canceled, disbursing funds to the Owner.
If a balance payment is due for the initial Booking and the edit leads to a price reduction, the balance due will be adjusted accordingly.
If the initial Booking is fully paid and the edit leads to a price reduction, the excess amount paid will be refunded within a reasonable time.
We reserve the right to delete pending edit requests from the Owner without notice and revert edited Bookings to their initial state after informing both parties.
Payments:

We may provide an online Payment Platform to make online payments to Owners via various options. Changes or withdrawals to the Payment Platform may be made at Our discretion without notice.
If an Owner has enabled online Booking, it is mandatory to use only the Payment Platform for transactions. Payments by wire transfer are strictly prohibited.
By using the Payment Platform, You agree to these Traveler Terms of Use, Rental Agreement with the Owner, and Our Privacy and Chargeback Policies.
We are not responsible for the payment solutions themselves and cannot be held liable for any losses as a result of making payments to an Owner. Customer support inquiries related to payments should be directed to the payment provider.
We act as the Owner's payment collection agent for the limited purpose of accepting payments. Once received, the payment obligation to the Owner is extinguished, and We are responsible for remittance to the Owner.
In connection with a Booking, you must provide billing information, and You authorize the collection of amounts for confirmed Bookings or damages.
You authorize Us to store your payment method information and charge your payment method as outlined herein.
Receipts, Collections, Security Deposits:

A confirmation email will be sent once payment is successfully completed.
If unable to collect amounts owed, We may engage in collection efforts. Communication about amounts owed will be made electronically or by phone.
Owners may require Security Deposits, and We may request a pre-authorization or charge Your payment method for damage caused at a Property or for overstaying.
Overstaying at a Property without the Owner's consent will result in additional charges and possible legal expenses.
Scheduled Payments:

Owners may request Scheduled Payments for confirmed rentals. You authorize Us to charge Your payment card accordingly, and You may stop payment by notifying Us within specified timeframes.
